If I had $10 to spend on Zazzle what would I chose?

These items come close to $10. I would have to pay a tiny bit after the deduction. You are probably asking why did I chose these three products.

Here is the answer to that...The handsome dog on the card is my German Shepherd, Buddy. The chocolate truffle key chain is because I am a chocoholic. And the last one is the ostrich that I feed at the Ostrich Farm. I use to have a ferret, so I love ferrets. The Hawaii tree is a photo my daughter took. When we look up the word "Gothic" it means: a style of architecture originating in France in the middle of the 12th century. It is also related to designating the style of painting, sculpture, etc.

I happen to see a lot of beauty in old Victorian and/or Vintage Gothic sculptures. To photograph the kind of sculptures I am looking for; the most obvious place to photograph is in the cemetery. I have a great respect for the dead, so when I do photography in cemeteries, I try my best to never photo the name of the person who is buried in that spot and if by chance a name does come through I delete that section of the photo or will delete the photo all together.

After I upload the photos, I take them into another computer program and do adjustments and add special effects to enhance the photo and/or to make the photo look even older.I happen to find the Goth culture very beautiful; I love the uniqueness they bring to the world. That is another reason why I have labeled this series my Goth Series, because of the uniqueness of the shots I have taken.

I have my Goth Series located in my Halloween Zazzle Gallery at :WhiteOak'sHalloween. I am always adding more designs, so please be sure to stop by often.

This Angel was one of the most beautiful unique old Angels in the Cemetery.

Mingled here with a few of my Zazzle friends who have a love of nature in trees! July 2011, a strange wind and storm blew in. The wind was strong and looked like the beginning of a tornado. It didn't last long, but the damage was intense. City wide blackout with home, tree and other damage throughout and our street lost its power for 6.5 hours.

The worst part about this storm was the lost of two large silver maple trees, that were around 60 years old or more. These trees had to be cut down. Our backyard had several large trees, making it look like a park. Now it looks a bit bare. These wonderful tree gifts are in remembrance of our lost.

Bird Posters and Cards Flew Away in the Draft

Yesterday I wrote a blog post in draft and had ten wonderful posters and cards of birds from many Zazzle shopkeepers. I had put a great deal of work into it. Also had another post ready to go in one of my other blogs, they were saved and ready for Friday. Last night I tried to go into Blogger and they were down to fix errors. Blogger was down today as well. This afternoon Blogger was up, but my drafts were all gone.

Oddly enough, today's blog was and still is about birds. Though I didn't have a copy and can't remember all 10 shopkeepers I had here. The title has changed from "Bird Posters and Cards" to what you see above. Having a post on birds seems more fitting, because my draft of this flew away.

Today's posters and cards of beautiful artwork with birds, photos and just funny. Not all birds are flying birds. Can you imagine an ostrich flying overhead? Better run for cover...bombs away!

Pink T-shirt Day

Today is pink t-shirt day on my blog. We start out with Easter tees of cartoon rabbits and a baby chick. After that is a monogram "A" t-shirt, on with expressive shirts with one knowing her place as the Queen and another being special.

I had to laugh at the Queen and I am special tees. I have worked with many women who thought they were a queen. However, I knew they were not the queen. The special shirt reminded me of my daughter. Since grade school, she has always said, "I am special." And she is!

The last t-shirt gave me an eerie feeling. There is something spooky about long narrow hallways. First, it reminds me of the movie with Jack Nicholson in The Shining. Jack Nicholson plays the off-season caretaker who becomes possessed and tries to kill his wife and son. Throughout the movie, it pans through the long eerie hallways of the hotel. More eerie yet, is the house we use to live in. You can believe me or not, but our house was haunted. We had this long hallway that lead to the bedrooms and bathrooms. We all felt that we were not alone when walking down this narrow hallway.

Pink is the t-shirt to wear. Even men with hairy arms and beards wear pink.

Today on odds and ends Friday are gifts of abstract shown with shoes, an iPhone 3G case and an iPad case; non-abstract warped mind t-shirt, a lovable bee cartoon mug and a poster with a famous, inspirational quote from writer F. Scott Fitzgerald.

This is how I plan to start my day. After getting dressed in my "Warped Mind" t-shirt and my cool abstract shoes, I pour myself some fresh gourmet coffee in my bee mug. Followed by a morning wake up call to my daughter with my iPhone, and then check the latest news on my iPad before deciding on what to write about for the day.

With a warped mind, I often see life in abstract.

Today I found out that using the name Charlie on a product is an infringement on the celebrity Charlie Sheen. There happens to be millions of guys named Charlie out there. Does that mean if you make a t-shirt for your friend Charlie with his first name on it, then it is an infringement on Charlie Sheen? Apparently it does!

BTY, I didn't even have the words Charlie or Sheen in any of the shirt titles either and avoided using the name Sheen altogether. So much for playing it safe. So be warned. Next time you add a first name to a product, even if it is a family member it may be an infringement on a celebrity.

Because of this issue, I had to change some of my t-shirts in my lens Inspired Charlie Sheen T-Shirts to Mr. Awesome! These shirts should be fine until Mr. Awesome starts complaining and Zazzle slaps me another email. These t-shirts will take you to Zazzle, but enjoy them on my lens too.

With the newer computers, it seems like mousepads are not a necessary anymore. But for myself, I still have a couple of those older computers. But even if a mousepad is not needed for your mouse to work properly, it does here the surface of your desk from getting scratches.
